It is essential that round bottom bowls are used for resistor paste blending to enable uniform mixing. Containers with corners or jars with ridges can give rise to poor distribution.
The standard method of blending is to use only adjacent decade blend member pastes of confirmed resistor value and place either side of the bowl. If the paste is cold, warm it to 25-26 degrees Celcius to facilitate mixing. Thoroughly mix together using spatulas that are flexible, TFA034 are perfect for this operation. Once mixed transfer to an appropriate size paste jar with the smallest possible air gap and seal with lid sealing tape, TFA024 - White or TFA025 - Green.
